Samsung is reportedly gearing up to introduce next-gen foldable smartphones including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. While the official announcement and other details about the devices remain unknown, a 9to5Google report suggests that both devices may debut in early July. Additionally, the reports have also hinted that this year’s Unpacked event will be organised in the US.

According to the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 may make their global debut on July 4. The Unpacked 2025 event will happen in New York, USA. For the unversed, last year the Unpacked was organised in Paris. This comes after a report by JoongAng stated that the tech giant is returning to the US to host its major launch event after a three-year gap.

Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Watch 7 series, its first Android XR headset, along with the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Flip FE and the anticipated Galaxy G Fold. However, the exact lineup of the devices remains under wraps.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 specs (tipped)

Both devices are expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 series chipset. It may come preloaded with the Android 16-based One UI 8 chipset. Speaking of the display, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to feature a 6.85-inch AMOLED main display and a 4-inch cover screen while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may debut with a 8.2-inch AMOLED panel.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 may come backed by a 4,174 mAh battery while the Z Fold 7 may get a 4,400mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 may come with a 200MP primary shooter along with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may debut with a 50MP primary shooter and 12MP ultrawide sensor.
