Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung fans have plenty to look forward to as the expected launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series comes closer. According to recent reports, Samsung will stick to three main models in its upcoming Samsung S26 series, which include the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. While there were some initial rumours about Samsung bringing back the Edge model with the S26 series, it now looks like it may not make it to the final lineup.
The upcoming S26 series is also hinted to receive design updates, with inspiration said to come from Samsung’s foldable phones. While Samsung has not officially confirmed any details, the leaked information provides a fairly clear picture of what to expect in terms of display, camera, battery, and pricing for the Indian market.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to feature a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may run on Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor and might come paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The phone is also tipped to pack a 5,400mAh battery, which is expected to be coupled with fast wired charging. On the camera front, the device is anticipated to feature a quad camera setup at the rear end, which would be led by a 200MP main sensor, along with an ultra-wide and two zoom lenses. However, it’s rumoured to have a 12MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to run on Samsung’s own processor or Qualcomm’s latest chip, depending on the region. Along with that, the device is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch high-resolution display and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. In terms of battery, the device is said to house a 4,900mAh battery with fast charging support. Furthermore, the camera is also said to come with three rear cameras featuring a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide lens and a zoom camera with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP front camera.

The standard Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood the device could be powered by either an Exynos or Snapdragon processor based on the market. Moreover, the phone is said to pack a 4,300mAh battery. Camera features are tipped to include a triple rear setup with a 50MP main camera, supported by ultra-wide and 3x zoom lenses, and a 12MP front camera.
If rumours are believed to be true, Samsung may have delayed the launch of the Samsung S26 series altogether. Current reports indicate a late February launch during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on February 25, 2026. The India launch is expected to take place around the same time, and the phones may go on sale in early March. However, please note that Samsung has not officially announced it yet.
