Samsung’s next flagship phone lineup- the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a couple of months away from its debut; however, rumours and leaks have already started building hype. With Samsung reportedly planning to revive the Plus model, the upcoming lineup is expected to ship with four models – Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, Galaxy S26 Plus and the Galaxy S26 Ultra lineup. However, the Ultra has been the most talked-about model in the lineup.
This year, too, it is likely to get some significant upgrades, which may also result in a price bump. Here’s everything we know so far about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G could launch in India at a starting price of around Rs 1,59,990 for the base variant.
If Samsung follows its usual trend, the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G could arrive in January 2026 alongside the other two members of the lineup, the new Galaxy S26 Pro and the Galaxy S26 Edge. However, none of these details is officially confirmed.
As per recent leaks, the flagship may support 60W wired fast charging paired with a 5,500mAh battery, a step up from the current 45W limit. The device is also expected to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and an upgraded vapour cooling chamber.

The battery is expected to be larger, with a 5,500 mAh capacity. Fast charging could be upgraded to 65W, which means quicker charging times compared to previous models.
On the design side, Samsung might ditch the familiar floating camera lenses in favour of a pill-shaped camera island, similar to the one found on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
