Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price drops by over Rs 20,000 on Amazon ahead of Z Fold 8 launch

HIGHLIGHTS

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has received a direct price cut of more than Rs 20,000 on Amazon.

Amazon Pay ICICI Bank card users can save an additional Rs 3,500, lowering the effective price further.

The flagship packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 200MP camera, Galaxy AI features, and a 6.9-inch display.

It would not be wrong to say that the flagship devices are getting expensive. But, if you are looking for a new flagship, then we have found out a really good Amazon deal for you. The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is available with a whopping Rs 20,000 discount. For the unversed, the device comes loaded with new Galaxy AI features, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a quad camera setup and a new camera design. But the question is, for the discounted price, is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra the right fit for you?

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price drop on Amazon

The Samsung Galaxy Ultra, which launched at a price of Rs 1,39,999, is now available at a price of Rs 1,19,480 on Amazon. This means, without any card usage, you can save over Rs 20,000 on the new device. And by any chance, if you have an Amazon Pay ICICI credit card, you can save over Rs 3,500 on the device, bringing down the price to under Rs 1,16,000.

You can also buy the device on EMI with the installments starting at Rs 4,201 per month. Adding on, you can even exchange your old device and get a value of up to Rs 38,950. However, it must be noted that both of these things depend on different terms and conditions. Lastly, you can also buy add-ons like an extended warranty by paying more.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Should you buy?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is arguably among the best flagships available in the market. The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a world-first privacy display, a 200MP main camera with a wider f/1.4 aperture and an improved 60W wired charging. It also has a refined Armor Aluminum frame, which makes the device noticeably slimmer and better balanced despite its large 6.9-inch footprint.

However, prospective buyers should note that the shift from titanium to aluminum raises some durability questions, while the S Pen loses its Bluetooth-based remote gesture functionality in this iteration. The absence of Qi2 magnetic charging alignment at a flagship price point is another gap worth considering.

But all in all, the device is a powerful all rounder that offers premium design, camera, display and battery backup.
