Samsung has reportedly started working on the next generation of its flagship Galaxy S-series lineup, speculated to debut early next year. While the smartphones are still months away from their official launch, the leaks have already given a sneak peek into the expected specifications of the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra. The handset is tipped to retain the older design with sleeker refinements, including a minimalistic rear panel, slimmer bezel and an improved screen-to-body ratio.
Additionally, the device is also likely to get a Colour Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) OLED panel with a black pixel definition layer (PDL). Here’s all we know about the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to stick to the same 6.9-inch display as its predecessor. However, it could get a third-generation anti-reflective coating over the display for a better viewing experience. The device is further said to be backed by an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy custom chipset.
Additionally, it could come in three storage options- 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, paired with 16GB of RAM. In terms of battery, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could get a 5,000mAh battery with a faster charging support.
In terms of camera, the device could feature a 200MP Sony lens alongside two 50MP sensors (one periscope and one ultra-wide), and a 12MP telephoto shooter on the rear panel.
