We are not far from the time when Samsung unveils its new S-series flagship devices globally. This year, Samsung is said to bring the Galaxy S26 series, and like every time, the fans are waiting for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company is already tipped to offer better performance, display, and design, but what about the camera? Will there be any upgrade?
In a latest post, tipster Ice Universe stated that the device may offer a slight downgrade, possibly due to the slimmer form factor. Here’s everything that we know about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra camera, specifications, price range, and launch timeline.
According to reliable tipster Ice Universe, the phone’s 200MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 5x telephoto cameras will be retained from the S25 Ultra, while the rumoured 3x telephoto lens upgrade may not occur. Instead, Samsung may use a smaller 10MP sensor, potentially resulting in a slight downgrade. Larger apertures and improved software, such as enhanced HDR and photo resolution controls, may help to improve low-light performance.
As per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could offer a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. The device will debut with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and could be coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB storage. The device may ship with a 5,000 mAh battery and 60W fast charging.
As per the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could be priced between Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,39,999. The company may increase prices amid rising hardware costs.
The leaks also suggest that Samsung has postponed the Galaxy S26 series launch. If reports are true, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S26 series in the end of or early March next year. However, the exact details remain under wraps.
