Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S25 FE in India. The company has been tight-lipped on the same; reports suggest that the device may debut in the coming months. The handset is also tipped to get a new design and upgraded display technology. Recent CAD renders have shared the early details about the phone’s appearance, and one of them is a flexible OLED display panel and a slimmer form factor.
For the unversed, the Galaxy S25 FE will succeed last year’s Galaxy S24 FE. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming smartphone.
According to a report by ZDNet Korea (via SamMobile), the Galaxy S24 FE’s rigid OLED display tech will be replaced by a new flexible OLED panel, offering a more adaptable design to the device. For those who are unaware, rigid panels are built on a solid and stiff glass substrate. On the other hand, flexible OLEDs are manufactured over flexible materials, which makes the device look slimmer overall. For reference, Samsung’s S-series flagships use the flexible OLED tech.
Additionally, the handset is also rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. It is also tipped to measure 61.4 x 76.6 x 7.4mm, thinner than the S24 FE (8mm).
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy S25 FE could be powered by the Exynos 2400 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. Samsung is also expected to launch the device with Android 16-based One UI 8, promising seven years of software updates. In terms of the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE could get a 12MP front camera, an upgrade over the 10MP front camera on the Galaxy S24 FE. The rear camera setup may comprise a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
