Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy M56 5G in the Indian market as the successor of Galaxy M55 5G. On the sheets, the smartphone has received upgrades in display, performance, design and camera. The device comes with a 5,000 mAh battery fitted in a 7.2mm thin profile. The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G comes with a 6.73-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The device comes powered by the octa-core Exynos 1480 chipset. It is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and runs on Android 15-based One UI 7. The company has promised to offer 6 years of major software updates and 6 years of security patches. The device comes backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. The device supports 5G, 4GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC support.

As for cameras, the device comes with a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device offers a 12MP selfie camera. The device inherits all the Galaxy AI imaging features from the flagship devices including edit suggestions, object erasers, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is priced at Rs 27,999 for the base 8GB and 128GB storage variants. It will be on sale starting April 23 and can be purchased from Amazon, Samsung’s official website, and other retail channel partners.
