Samsung has expanded its M series with a device, the Galaxy M17 5G, in the Indian market. The device will be positioned above the Galaxy M16 and offers a triple camera setup, better chipset, battery, and design. The device will be available on Amazon along with the company’s e-store in two different colour options. The device is IP54 rated and offers NFC and other connectivity options. The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G comes at a price of Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The mid variant with 6GB RAM is priced at Rs 13,999, and the top-end variant with 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 15,499. The device will be available on no-cost EMI as well. It will go on sale starting October 14 and will be available in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black colourways.

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is offered with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It offers a peak brightness of 1,100 nits and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, the device comes with the Exynos 1330 chipset. It offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable via microSD card). It runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 and will get six OS upgrades and six years of security patches. It also gets a slew of AI features like Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live, and more.

As for the cameras, the device offers a triple camera led by a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the device comes with a 13MP selfie shooter. The device comes backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and 25W charging.
