Samsung seems to be lining up the launch of its popular Galaxy A series with the upcoming Galaxy A57. The device has been recently spotted on various certification websites, including the Chinese and the Indian markets. These certifications strongly hint that the release of the smartphone is not far away. While these listings don’t reveal any official information about the phone, they do offer a clear picture of what Samsung is preparing behind the scenes. The Galaxy A series is well-known to offer its users just the perfect combination of looks, power, and pricing, and the upcoming Galaxy A57 also seems to support this trend. Here’s everything we know about the device so far.
Recent certification listings and leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A57 may feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the device is also expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 is expected to run on Samsung’s Exynos 1680 processor. It is likely to be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the storage speed of the upcoming model is said to be faster than its predecessors.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A57 could come with a triple rear setup led by a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, it’s expected to sport a 12MP camera for perfect selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is also tipped to house a battery close to 5,000mAh, along with 45W fast charging support. However, despite the large battery, the device is said to be slim at around 6.9mm and weigh about 182 grams. Lastly, the device is expected to run on One UI 8.5, which is based on Android 16.
The Galaxy A57 has already been spotted on India’s BIS certification website, which usually means a launch is approaching. Going by Samsung’s past release pattern, the phone could be introduced in India within the next few weeks, as early as mid-March. Users can expect an official announcement soon.

Samsung has not confirmed pricing yet, but the Galaxy A57 is expected to sit in the upper mid-range segment. The base variant could be priced around Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 in India, depending on storage options. Do note that the final prices will only be revealed at the time of launch.
