Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max in the Indian market. Both the device features upgrades in terms of durability, camera, performance and more. The devices also come with a complimentary Care Plan and will be available on major e-commerce platforms and retail channels along with e-store. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G share a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. The Pro Max gets the more powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, while the Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Both phones run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 and support four years of OS updates and six years of security updates.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G packs a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge, 27W wired reverse charging and bypass charging support. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP f/1.5 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera. It also supports 4K video recording, AI-powered editing tools and an Underwater Mode for photos and videos.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G gets a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W TurboCharge and 22.5W wired reverse charging. It offers up to 16GB RAM with virtual expansion, with storage options going up to 256GB. For photography, it features a 50MP OIS primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with the same AI Creativity Suite and Underwater Mode.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is priced at Rs 36,999 for the base variant while the 8GB and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 39,999.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max price starts at Rs 49,999 for the base variant while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 55,999. The customers can get up to Rs 5,000 bank discount on the devices. It will be available in Matcha Green, Secret Sunrise, and Stealth Black colour options.
The Note 17 Pro will go on sale starting September 17 while the Note 17 Pro Max will go on sale starting September 23. It will be available in Cloud Blue, Purple Vibe and Stealth Black colour options.
