Redmi has recently given its Note series a yearly refresh, and the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is the latest addition to it. Both devices are aimed at users who want a premium experience without flagship pricing, which can make choosing between them somewhat confusing. The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus comes with noticeable changes when compared to its predecessor. While differences in display, battery, camera, and software may appear minor, they can significantly impact day-to-day use. Here’s a spec comparison overview of both the devices to help you understand better what each device has to offer and what has changed with the new device for the better or the worse.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus features a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Along with that, the device also sports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Under the bright sunlight the device can reach a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. The screen of the device comes protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
While on the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus comes with a slightly smaller curved AMOLED panel of 6.67 inches with 1.5K resolution and a similar 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The display can reach a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The company has also installed a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protecting the device screen.

Under the hood the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus draws its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The device further boasts 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Out of the box the device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, which is a skin based on Android 15.
Comparatively, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor which is coupled with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage options. Aside from that, the device is shipped with Xiaomi HyperOS, an Android 14-based skin.

In terms of battery the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus ships with a 6,500mAh battery and 100W charging support on the contrary the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus comes packed with a 6,200mAh battery with a 90W charging support.
On the optics front, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus features a 200MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front-facing selfie shooter.
Comparatively, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (Indian variant) boasts a 50MP main sensor, a dedicated 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. While at the front it houses a 20MP selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is launched at Rs 37,999 for the base variant, while the base variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus was launched at Rs 31,999.
