Xiaomi is getting ready to refresh its midrange lineup in India with the Redmi Note 15 series. According to recent reports, the launch is set for January 6, 2026. Globally, Xiaomi is expected to release five models, but the one people seem most curious about is the regular Redmi Note 15. It is shaping up to be the everyday model that many buyers usually look at first. The early leaks suggest that Xiaomi is sticking to a familiar formula. According to Yogesh Brar, the Redmi Note 15 series will launch on January 6, 2026. Tipster Abhishek Yadav suggests Xiaomi may introduce the phones in two rounds. The Redmi Note 15 may arrive first, followed by the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed this yet.

Tipster Yogesh Brar reports that the base Redmi Note 15 may feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, the phone is expected to use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and run on HyperOS 2.
The battery may be slightly above 5500 mAh with support for 45W charging. An IP65 rating is also likely. For cameras, leaks suggest a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 20MP front camera. The phone is expected to weigh around 170 grams when it arrives in India next month.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus may come with larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and very high brightness levels. Both phones are also expected to feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for stronger front protection.
The Note 15 Pro Plus may use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Note 15 Pro could get the Dimensity 7400 Ultra. An IP68 rating is also expected on both. Battery sizes may be around 6500mAh on the Pro Plus and slightly higher on the Pro.
For cameras, both models are expected to include a 200MP main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. Other features are still not confirmed.

Reports suggest that the Redmi Note 15 may be priced around Rs 20,000 in India. The Note 15 Pro may fall between Rs 27,000 and Rs 30,000. The Note 15 Pro Plus may be priced close to Rs 35,000. Actual prices may change once Xiaomi officially announces the lineup.
