Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has introduced yet another mid-range smartphone in India, called the Redmi 15A. The device features a series of upgrades, including a triple TÜV Rheinland certification, 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. The device also offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and offers an HD panel and a big battery. It also features a 7.5W reverse charging option. The Redmi 15A comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 810 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the device comes with a 6nm Unisoc T8300 processor and is paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 1TB).

It runs on Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS and is backed by a 6,300 mAh battery with 15W charging and 7.5 reverse wired charging. It gets IP52 certification for dust and water resistance. It also features Bluetooth 5.4, GPS + GLONASS, and a USB Type-C Port.
The Redmi 15A features a 32MP rear primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, along with a secondary sensor. For selfies, the device features an 8MP front camera.

The Redmi 15A is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM AND 64GB storage, while the 4GB and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,499. The 6GB and 128GB storage variants are priced at Rs 16,499. It will be available on the company’s official e-store along with Flipkart and offline stores, starting April 3.
