Realme has officially launched its latest custom operating system, Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. The new interface will debut alongside the Realme GT 8 Pro and introduce a redesigned look inspired by minimalist design principles. Realme says the refreshed interface aims to offer a smoother and more modern experience for users, with improved visuals and a more intuitive layout. So, if you’re using a Realme device, here is everything, including the Realme UI 7.0 release schedule, eligible devices and features.

Realme UI 7.0 release timeline

Realme has launched a public beta programme for Realme UI 7.0, giving users early access to the update before its official release. The stable version will first appear on the Realme GT 8 Pro, with the Realme GT 7 Pro receiving it in November 2025. 

The wider rollout will take place in Q4 2025 and continue into Q1 2026, covering more Realme devices through an over-the-air update.

The Realme UI 7.0 update will arrive on the Realme devices soon. Here is the list of devices to get the update:

Q4 2025

Realme UI 7.0 features

Realme UI 7.0 features a new Light Glass Design, inspired by minimalist aesthetics. The update introduces Ice Cube Icons and a Misty Glass Control Centre, giving the interface a softer and more modern appearance. The new Breathing Dock automatically adjusts on-screen elements for a cleaner layout.

A new Flux Theme 2.0 offers greater personalisation, including larger text sizes, updated lock-screen options, and panoramic Always-On Displays. Realme says the new Flux Engine improves responsiveness and scrolling speed by up to 30 per cent compared to the previous version.

Additionally,  the update allows users to add Live Photos or video backgrounds with a subtle depth effect that draws attention to the primary subject. Even more versatility for custom layouts is provided by extras like new fingerprint animations, resizable icons, and adaptive widgets.

Realme UI 7.0 also introduces several new AI-powered features to simplify everyday use. Here are some of the notable AI features:

  • AI Notify Brief: Collects less important notifications and shows them together in the morning and evening, helping you stay focused.
  • AI Gaming Coach: Studies how you play games and gives tips to improve your performance.
  • AI Framing Master: Suggests the best way to frame your shots so you can take better photos.

Cross-device connectivity has also been enhanced. The update now allows seamless interaction with iPhones and the Apple Watch, including the ability to receive calls and messages and sync health data between devices.
