Realme has officially expanded its P series lineup in India with the new Realme P4x 5G. The device comes with a high refresh rate, a new MediaTek Dimensity chipset along with a bigger battery compared to its predecessor. The company aims to cater the gamers and power users with the new device by offering upgrades like an enhanced vapour chamber cooling system designed to keep temperatures in check during long sessions. The smartphone features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a variable refresh rate that can switch between 60Hz and 144Hz. It can reach a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and is paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The device is paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Storage expansion of up to 2TB is supported via a microSD card. The P4x packs a 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 and is promised two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
In terms of optics, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP OV50D40 primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, with support for 4K video at 30 fps. On the front, there is an 8MP camera capable of 1080p recording. The device also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and dual 5G support.
The Realme P4x 5G is available in Matte Silver, Elegant Pink and Lake Green. Pricing starts at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, Rs 17,499 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 19,499 for the 8GB+256GB option. With bank offers, the effective starting price drops to Rs 13,499. The first sale begins on December 10 at 12 PM for a limited 12-hour window, with availability on realme.com, Flipkart and offline retail channels.
