Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT 8 Pro in India on 20 November, and the company is expected to share all key details during an online event. Early information suggests that the device could arrive with a large screen, strong day to day performance and a battery that supports quick charging. The camera setup is expected to be one of the main highlights with support from Ricoh GR imaging technology, which may help deliver better colours and improved clarity. The Realme GT 8 Pro is anticipated to arrive with a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel offering QHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to cover the full DCI-P3 and sRGB colour ranges and reach a peak brightness of up to 7,000 nits.
Internally, the device is rumoured to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with as much as 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of UFS storage. Power is expected to come from a 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging.
Camera hardware may include a Ricoh-tuned triple rear system consisting of a 50MP GR main shooter with OIS and a 22mm focal length, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP telephoto module capable of up to 120x digital zoom. A 32MP front-facing camera is expected for selfies and video calls.
