Realme is gearing up to launch its next flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro, in India soon. The brand has already started teasing key details of the smartphone. The handset is confirmed to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it the first Realme device to debut with the new flagship processor. Additionally, the GT 8 Pro will feature a 2K-resolution AMOLED display with 7,000 nits of peak brightness.
The phone’s design has also been teased, hinting at a redesigned rear panel. Here’s what we know.
According to the latest teasers shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Realme GT 8 Pro will likely feature a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, along with full coverage of the DCI-P3 and sRGB colour gamuts.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS storage. Powering the device is expected to be a 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, ensuring all-day performance with minimal downtime.
In the camera department, Realme is reportedly collaborating with Ricoh for a triple rear setup that includes a 50MP GR anti-glare primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a massive 200MP telephoto lens capable of 120x digital zoom. On the front, users can expect a 32MP selfie camera.

While Realme hasn’t confirmed an exact India launch date, reports suggest a global unveiling between November 10 and 12. The GT 8 Pro is expected to launch in India shortly after, with prices starting around Rs 65,000.
