Realme has expanded its Realme 16 series with the launch of a new device, the Realme 16T. The new device, which launched alongside Realme Buds Air 8 Pro and Realme Watch S5, offers a massive battery pack, a smooth display, and a decent camera setup. Realme 16T specs

The Realme 16T is offered with a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of high brightness. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box.

The device packs a massive 8,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, reverse wired charging and bypass charging. Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS support and USB Type-C. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance alongside MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability.

In terms of camera setup, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary rear camera. On the front, the device offers a 16MP selfie camera that can record 1080p videos. Realme has also bundled AI-driven camera tools such as AI Portrait Glow and AI Instant Clip.

Realme 16T price and availability

The Realme 16T starts at Rs 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 31,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 34,999. The smartphone comes in Starlight Black, Starlight Blue, and Starlight Red colour options.

Pre-bookings for the device are currently live and will continue until May 26. The first sale is scheduled to begin on May 27 via Flipkart and the official Realme website.
