Realme is now gearing up to introduce its next-generation smartphone, the Realme 16 Pro series. The lineup will include the Realme 16 Pro 5G and the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. The devices will launch with worthy upgrades compared to the last generation devices. The company has announced that it has designed the device in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus will launch in India on January 6, 2026. The event will be livestreamed on YouTube and social media channels starting at 12 PM IST. The devices will be available on Flipkart, retail channels, and the Realme e-store.
The Realme 16 Pro Plus is said to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It may offer a 7,000 mAh battery with a fast charging option. It may come with Android 16 out of the box.
As for cameras, the device could feature a 200MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom. On the front, the fans can expect a 50MP selfie camera.
Speaking of the Realme 16 Pro, it may get a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device may feature the same 7,000 mAh battery and 80W charging. In terms of the camera, it may get a 200MP main and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, the device could get a 50MP front camera.
As per the reports, the Realme 16 Pro could come with a price tag of around Rs 30,000, while the Realme 16 Pro Plus could be priced in between Rs 35,000 and Rs 38,000.
