If past patterns are taken into consideration, this smartphone is expected to be rebranded for India as the Poco X8 Pro Max. The device is expected to boast a bigger battery, fast performance, and an enhanced design. The Poco X8 Pro Max is also rumoured to sport a dual camera setup at the rear of the smartphone. The smartphone is anticipated to sport a clean and premium-quality back panel, with a vertically stacked dual camera setup resting at the left corner of the camera module. At the front, the smartphone is expected to come with a flat OLED screen, which sports a punch-hole camera setup at the centre and thin bezels. The smartphone is also rumoured to sport a metal outline with rounded edges.

According to the leaks, the smartphone is expected to come packed with a massive 9,000 mAh battery along with support for fast charging of up to 100W. The specs are expected to be similar to the Chinese counterpart of the device, also known as the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.

The AnTuTu scores for the upcoming Poco X8 Pro Max have also recently surfaced online, revealing an impressive score of around 3.29 million points. If these numbers are true, then this could position the upcoming Poco device next to the current Android flagship devices in terms of performance.

In terms of hardware, the smartphone is rumoured to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. Furthermore, right out of the box, the device is anticipated to run on HyperOS 3.0, which is an Android skin based on the latest Android 16.

When it comes to the display, this device may feature a 1.5K flat OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also rumoured to offer up to 16GB of RAM, while storage details remain under wraps. The device is also rumoured to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Coming to the camera configuration, if the leaks are to be trusted, then the Poco X8 Pro Max may sport a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP second rear camera.
