Poco has finally introduced its much anticipated X8 Pro series in the Indian market. The lineup includes the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. Both the devices offer some big upgrades including 1.5K AMOLED displays and the latest MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, promising a top notch gaming performance. The Poco X8 Pro Max comes with a 6.83-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate with HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device ships with a 9000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging. It also offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and dual stereo speakers.
In terms of camera, the device comes with a triple camera setup including 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera.
The Poco X8 Pro debuts with a 6.59-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and supports HDR10+. It offers 3500 nits peak brightness and is protected by the Gorilla Glass 7i. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor and is available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The device features a 6500mAh battery with 100W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging support. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, while other features include Dolby Atmos-powered dual stereo speakers, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Both the device ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 and will also receive four OS updates and six years of security patches.
Speaking of the camera, the device comes with 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP sensor. The front camera is the same as the elder sibling.
