Oppo’s popular Reno lineup is gearing up for next-generation smartphones – the Oppo Reno 15 series, expected to comprise the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro+. While there are no official details available yet, leaks have suggested that the devices are under development and may debut in China in the second half of 2025, followed by a launch in India in early 2026. The smartphones will succeed the Oppo Reno 14 series, which was launched earlier this year in India.
Here’s everything we know about the Oppo Reno 15 series.
Tipster Yogesh Brar shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Oppo has already begun testing the Reno 15 series in India and other key markets. If the reports are accurate, the Indian debut is expected to take place shortly after the phones are unveiled in China, which is anticipated to be held around November 2025. This timeline also aligns with Oppo’s usual launch schedule.
The Oppo Reno 15 lineup is rumoured to feature major hardware upgrades over its predecessor. As per recent leaks, the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a flagship processor that debuted in September.
The Reno 15 Pro+ may boast a 200MP primary rear camera paired with a periscope lens for improved zoom capabilities. Oppo is also expected to enhance colour accuracy and low-light performance with its next-generation image processing algorithms.
In terms of display, the Reno 15 could sport a 6.3-inch panel, while the Reno 15 Pro may feature a larger 6.8-inch screen. Both devices are likely to feature AMOLED panels with high refresh rates and support for HDR.
Other leaked details include a massive 10,000mAh battery.
The standard Oppo Reno 14 5G is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs 40,000, whereas the Pro variant could be priced at Rs 55,000 in India. However, these are just speculations and are not officially confirmed yet.
