Oppo has confirmed that its upcoming Find X9 series will be powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship processor, the Dimensity 9500. The company has also confirmed that the device will be making its China debut in the third week of October. The lineup will get “All-Big-Core” design, combining an ultra-core clocked at 4.21GHz, three high-performance cores, and four additional performance-focused cores. According to the company, this setup delivers up to 32% better single-core output and 17% stronger multi-core results compared to its predecessor, while slashing peak power consumption by more than half.
The company has also confirmed that graphics will see a major revamp, thanks to the Arm G1 Ultra GPU, which increases rendering speed by 33% and energy efficiency by 42%. It will also receive a custom cooling solution to regulate temperatures during high-frame-rate gaming and ray tracing.
Oppo has also confirmed that it will launch a new Trinity Engine. It will be Android’s first unified computing power model, balancing CPU, GPU, and DSU resources at the system level while predicting power consumption with over 90% accuracy.
The Find X9 series will debut on October 15 in China. However, the global and India launch dates still remain under wraps. If the leaks are believed to be true, the devices may hit the retail shelves in December.
As per the reports, the Oppo Find X9 may launch with a 7,000 mAh battery while the X9 Pro could launch with a 7,500 mAh battery. The devices are said to launch with a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera setup. The Oppo Find X9 Pro could come with a 200MP periscope sensor.
The Oppo Find X9 could cost Rs 69,999, while the Oppo Find X8 Pro could start at Rs 99,999. Again, these prices have not been confirmed and will be announced shortly.
