Chinese smartphone maker has officially introduced the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in the Indian market. The Oppo A3 Pro successor comes with a series of upgrades including the design, specifications, and features. For the unversed, the device comes with military-grade certifications, a slim design IP69 certification, and more. The new mid-range device also offers a dual camera setup along with vapour cooling chamber for thermal management. The Oppo A5 Pro 5G price starts at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 19,999. Customers can get up to Rs 1,500 off on using select bank cards like SBI, IDFC, BOB, and DBS credit cards. The device comes in two colours- Mocha Brown and Feather Blue.

Customers can purchase the device from Oppo India store, Flipkart, Amazon, and other retail channel partners.

Oppo A5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS panel with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The device offers 1,000 nits peak brightness. The device draws the power from MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and comes coupled with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It houses a 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging support and runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15. The device comes offered with a damage-proof 360° armour body, IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings, and military-grade certifications.

As for the cameras, the Oppo A5 Pro comes with a 50 MP primary camera along with a 2MP monochrome lens. On the front, the company may debut with an 8MP selfie camera. It also features a series of AI features like AI Eraser 2.0, LivePhoto, AI Portrait Retouching, AI Reflection Remover, AI Studio, and more.
