After launching the OnePlus 13s in India, the Chinese smartphone OEM is reportedly gearing up for the next generation of its Nord series smartphone. The successor to the OnePlus Nord 4, Nord 5, is expected to debut soon in the global markets. Although there are no official details available, rumours and reports have already revealed some of the expected specifications, including hardware and design. The OnePlus Nord 5 is likely to feature a plastic frame with a glass back. It is also tipped to feature an OLED panel and improved camera setup.

Following its usual timeline, OnePlus is likely to unveil the upcoming Nord 5 by early July. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the device may debut on July 8, accompanied by the OnePlus Nord CE 5.
Based on rumours, the OnePlus Nord 5 may feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. In terms of battery, it could be backed by a massive 6,700mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
For photography, the OnePlus Nord 5 is rumoured to feature a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, it may feature a 16MP selfie camera.

According to the latest report, the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to come with a price tag between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000 in the Indian market. To recall, the OnePlus Nord 4 was launched at a starting price of Rs 27,499.
