The OnePlus Nord 5 is all set to debut in India on July 8 at 2 PM. The handset will be accompanied by the Nord CE 5. The tech giant has already made a landing page live via Amazon, teasing the design and some of the key specifications. The Nord 5 is rumoured to receive a design overhaul over its predecessor, the Nord 4 5G, including a shift from the Alert slider to a ‘Plus Key’ on the right edge. Additionally, the phone will also get a new vertically positioned pill-shaped camera module.

The smartphone is teased to come in a light blue colourway. The handset was previously tipped to get three colour options. However, the other two colour options remain under wraps.
The upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 is confirmed to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3. Additionally, it is claimed to offer 144 FPS gaming and a 7,300 mm² cooling chamber for effective thermal management. The company may reveal more details in the coming days.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the smartphone could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will likely pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage under the hood.
For optics, the OnePlus Nord 5’s dual rear camera setup is tipped to comprise a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, the handset may house a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Other leaked details include a 6,700 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and IP65-rated dust and water resistance.

While pricing is yet to be revealed, OnePlus is expected to launch Nord 5 between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000.
