OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch the OnePlus 16, its upcoming flagship device. It would be a successor to the recently launched OnePlus 15. While the company has been tight-lipped, early leaks give a glimpse of what the brand may bring next. Rumours point out that the device will have a strong focus on camera upgrades and overall performance. The buyers can expect a powerful new chipset along with a large battery and a refined display. In terms of optics, the smartphone is said to feature a triple rear camera setup. According to recent reports on Weibo, the device will house a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens, along with a 200MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. On the front, the device is anticipated to sport a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

OnePlus is expected to equip the next iteration of its flagship model with a 6.82-inch AMOLED panel. Rumours also suggest that it may come with up to a 240Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Moreover, the handset is said to feature ultra-thin bezels and a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits.
Under the hood, the handset is said to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, which is built on a 2nm process. On top of that, it’s also anticipated to feature LPDDR6 RAM that goes up to 16GB and UFS 4.1 storage going up to 1TB.

Leaks also point out that the device can sport a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and may support 150W wired and 50W wireless charging. Furthermore, out of the box, the device is expected to run on OxygenOS 17, which is a skin based on Android 17.
The OnePlus 16 is expected to launch in the Indian market around mid-November 2026. Moreover, early leaks suggest that the device may be priced at Rs 75,999.
