After the buzz around the OnePlus 15 5G and its new Sand Storm colour variant, attention is now shifting to its compact sibling, the OnePlus 15s 5G. The upcoming device is said to pack flagship performance in a compact form factor. A new leak suggests that the phone could feature a massive battery packed into a sleek body. The device will likely launch next year; however, the official details are still under wraps.
Notably, it will succeed OnePlus 13s which debuted earlier this year. Here’s all we know about the upcoming OnePlus 15s.
According to a new leak, the OnePlus 15s is expected to retain the standard OnePlus 15 series’ design, featuring the same clean lines and camera layout. Interestingly, leaks also suggest that the phone could include a multi-function alert slider. It could sport a metal frame with a square camera module similar to its predecessor. The leaked image also reveals three colour options – Pink, Grey and Black. Although none of these details rae officially confirmed and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15s 5G could be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Reports further claim that the phone might feature a massive 7,000mAh+ battery, a remarkable upgrade for a compact smartphone. Notably, the OnePlus 13s 5G packs a 5,850mAh unit, which is pretty impressive considering its ultra-slim form factor. It is also said to sport a 6.3-inch OLED display.
Additionally, the OnePlus 15s 5G may also ship with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, replacing the optical sensor used in its predecessor. While the leaks sound promising, these details are yet to be confirmed officially.
