OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus Ace 6 in China, slated to debut in India as the OnePlus 15R. The handset boasts flagship-grade hardware, a premium metal frame, and a lightning-fast AMOLED display. While the company hasn’t revealed any details about the OnePlus 15R India launch, it is expected to pack features similar to those of its Chinese counterparts. The device will likely arrive in Competitive Black, Flash White, and Quicksilver colourways, featuring a refined micro-gradient silk glass finish.

The OnePlus 15R may sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 165Hz (60/90/120/144/165Hz). It is also tipped to get the next-gen “Bright Eye Protection” tech and carry the “Little Gold Label” eye-protection certification. The handset could come with a metal frame and “cube” design, aligning it closely with the flagship OnePlus 15.
Under the hood, the smartphone is likley to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a new Wind Chip Gaming Core offering a consistent 165Hz full-frame rate. Other hardware details may include Touch and Display Sync for ultra-responsive inputs, improved signal strength (+60%), and a Gyroscope Sensitive Tracking feature.
Additionally, the OnePlus 15R could be backed by a massive 7800mAh battery with 120W fast charging, delivering 10 hours of full-frame gaming and a 50% charge in just 16 minutes. There may also be a Bypass Power and In-Game Recharge mode for dedicated gamers. The phone will come equipped with IP66/68/69/69K ratings, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a Sony 50MP main camera, dual stereo speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, Rain Touch support, NFC, and an IR blaster.

While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed Indian pricing yet, reports suggest the OnePlus 15R could start around Rs 32,000 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, with the top-end 16GB + 1TB model expected to touch Rs 48,000. To recall, the OnePlus 13R launched at Rs 42,999 last year, suggesting the upcoming 15R will sit in the premium mid-range when it launches in India soon.
