OnePlus 15 launch date in India price specs design camera battery
The flagship launch season has begun, and OnePlus is preparing to introduce its next-generation premium smartphone, the OnePlus. The successor to the OnePlus 13 is expected to have a redesigned build, as well as a new Sand Dune colour option. The device was showcased at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit and will reportedly feature an aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal mid-frame, which the brand claims is lighter than titanium while providing superior durability and heat dissipation. It may have better specifications than previous-generation devices. Here’s everything we know about the OnePlus 15 India launch, specifications, and pricing.
According to official teasers, the OnePlus 15 will replace the circular camera island seen on previous models with a minimalist, squared-off camera layout similar to the OnePlus 13s. The handset also features a new “Quenching Texture” with an Ice Skin-like feel, which is intended to be cooler and more comfortable to hold. Apple-style rounded R-angle corners are included for improved ergonomics, and ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels are intended to provide an immersive display experience.
To improve long-term reliability, the phone may receive advanced treatments such as micro arc oxidation, nanoscale sealing, and ion colouring, which improve hardness, colour retention, and corrosion resistance.
The OnePlus 15 is said to come with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel and 165Hz refresh rate. The device may also support HDR10+. It is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chipset, and the configurations could go up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It may come paired with an upgraded vapour cooling chamber. It may also feature a massive 7,300 mAh battery pack with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device is expected to feature a 50MP triple camera setup, tuned by DetailMax image engine for better photography. The device may also get IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications.
While the OnePlus 15 is set to be released in China in the coming weeks, the India debut is expected in January 2026, consistent with the company’s previous release cycles. Though pricing details are unknown, industry rumours suggest the flagship could start at Rs 74,999.
