Samsung has officially introduced the One UI 8.5 update with the Galaxy S26 series in the global markets. The new update comes with a refreshed design and new features. As per reports, the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series may roll out in early March 2026. Currently, the update for the Galaxy S25 series is in the final stage of beta testing. Many reports suggest that the update may roll out as early as March 11. For now, the users can opt for the One UI 8.5 beta 6 update in India, Europe, Korea and the US.

The One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series could bring a new visual refresh with Liquid Glass design language, with frosted glass aesthetics, 3D app icons and more customisable Quick Settings.
The devices may get improved Galaxy AI features, including a more contextual Bixby, enhanced Photo Assist and Now Nudges that offer proactive suggestions based on user behaviour. The devices may also get features like Storage Share and Audio Broadcast, along with Theft Protection, automatic sensitive data blurring, and partial screen recording.
