The company has already confirmed that there’s no flagship phone coming this year, and therefore more eyes are on the upcoming models. Recent leaks and official teasers indicate that the Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro will come with visible upgrades in design and performance, while durability could improve. A new teaser shared on social media hints at fresh colour options. Reports also point to better cameras, bigger batteries, and slightly higher prices. While Nothing has not yet fully disclosed the details related to the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4a, the leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of what to expect with the devices.

Nothing Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4a colour options

Nothing has teased the Phone 4a series with a colourful image showing the letter ‘a’ in blue, yellow, pink, white, and black. These are expected to be the launch colours for both models, keeping the brand’s playful design language intact.

This speculation is further fuelled by a video shared on Nothing’s official YouTube channel, in which CEO Carl Pei says the company is experimenting with more premium materials and colour options to give users a fresh, redefined look.

Nothing Phone 4a Pro specs

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is expected to feature a large 6.82-inch AMOLED panel with up to 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the rumours suggest that the device might draw its power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood and may ship with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone is further tipped to run on Nothing OS 4 based on Android 16 out of the box. The smartphone will likely house a battery of around 5,080mAh with fast charging support.

Other than that, the smartphone is also said to bag certifications for water and dust resistance. In terms of optics, it’s said to feature a triple rear camera setup with three 50MP sensors and a 50MP front camera.

On the other hand, the standard Nothing Phone 4a could come with the same 6.82-inch display but with a slightly lower refresh rate, reportedly of up to 120Hz. Reports also claim that the device may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The device is expected to house a 5,500mAh battery to fuel the device, coupled with 80W fast charging support. On the software front the device is said to feature a Nothing OS based on Android 15.

On the camera front, the phone is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup, likely comprising a 64MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
