Motorola is gearing up to launch its next Edge series lineup, the Motorola Edge 70, in select global markets on November 5. The company confirmed the launch timeline through its Poland website, which also revealed a few key details about the upcoming device. Notably, the Edge 70 is expected to be Motorola’s slimmest smartphone to date, featuring an “ultra-slim” design and efficient performance and portability.
The device will succeed the Motorola Edge 60. Here’s all we know about the Motorola Edge 70.
According to the teaser, the Motorola Edge 70 will house a 4,800mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 60, which came with a 5,200mAh unit. Despite the smaller capacity, Motorola seems to be prioritising a sleek form factor; reports suggest the new model could measure as thin as 6mm, significantly slimmer than the Edge 60’s 7.9mm profile.
In terms of specifications, the Edge 70 is rumoured to pack 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, offering multitasking performance. The phone is also expected to come equipped with Dolby Atmos-backed stereo speakers for immersive sound. For photography, the handset is said to sport a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an ultrawide sensor offering a 120-degree field of view.

However, given that the Edge 60 was launched in mid-range segement, the upcoming device could debut in sub Rs-30,000 category.
