Motorola Edge 70 has already made its debut in select international markets and may make its India debut soon. While Motorola hasn’t officially confirmed the India launch date, industry sources suggest that the Edge 70 could arrive in early 2026. The phone has already appeared on multiple certification databases, indicating that the brand is preparing for a global rollout, with India among the key markets in line to receive it.
Globally, the Motorola Edge 70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It features a 6.67-inch pOLED Super HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola Edge 70 is backed by a 4,800mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The device runs Android 16 out of the box and will receive security updates until June 2031. The phone carries IP68/IP69 certifications and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards for enhanced protection.
For optics, the Edge 70 houses a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 3-in-1 light sensor. The 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls with impressive clarity.
It also integrates Motorola’s ThinkShield security suite, in-display fingerprint scanner, and face unlock. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support enhance the multimedia experience.
The Motorola Edge 70 is priced at GBP 700 (around Rs 80,000) in the UK and EUR 799 (approximately Rs 81,000) in Europe. However, in India, the device could be priced much lower than this and could be around Rs 35,000, as per tipsters. It could be available in three Pantone-certified colour options – Bronze Green, Lily Pad and Gadget Grey.
