Motorola Edge 70 reportedly launch in India on December 15 with Thin Design
Motorola Edge 60 series has attracted a lot of attention in the Indian market due to its slew of features and impressive on-paper specifications. According to reports, the Motorola Edge 70 will be released as early as this month. While official details are unknown, the Motorola Edge 70’s price, specifications, and other details have been leaked online. The device is expected to have a larger battery than the global variant while still maintaining its slim form factor. Here’s a comprehensive list of what we know about the Motorola Edge 70.
According to the tipster Mukul Sharma, the company may introduce its Motorola Edge 70 on December 15. However, these are not the confirmed dates and we may have to wait for the official announcement. The device is expected to be available on Flipkart, Motorola India e-store and select retail channel partners.
The device is said to feature the same specifications as its global counterpart. This means the device may get a 6.7-inch Super HD (1.5K, 1220×2712 pixels) pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and could be combined with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It could feature a bigger battery compared to the global counterpart, which offers 4,800mAh silicon-carbon and 68W fast charging support.
The device is said to feature a 50MP main sensor (with OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the device may offer a 50MP selfie camera.
In terms of design, the tipster stated the device may retain a 5.99mm thick form factor and aluminum frame with a vegan leather or soft-touch finish. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection, and is certified to MIL-STD-810H durability standards.
The Motorola Edge 70, as per the tipster, is said to be priced at around Rs 35,000. However, the details remain under wraps. Meanwhile, the tipster also shared the possible colour options– Bronze Green, Lily Pad and Gadget Grey.
