Micromax Bolt A61, dual-SIM Android smartphone launched at Rs. 4,999

The newest addition to the bolt series the Bolt A61 has been announced for Rs.4,999, has a 4-inch TFT display and runs on the Android 4.1.

Micromax’s latest addition in the Bolt series is the A61, claimed to have high endurance levels as the exterior of the handset is made out of metal, yet sports a stylish design.

The Micromax Bolt A61 has a 4-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by a Spreadtrum SC7710 processor which can manage clock sepeds upto 1 GHz. Surprisingly, it comes with only 256MB of RAM.

It has 512MB of internal storage, expandable up to 16GB via microSD card along with a 2MP rear shooter. The smartphone runs on the Jelly Bean 4.1 OS.

In terms of connectivity, it has support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB connectivity and a 3.5mm audio port. It also packs a 1500mAh battery that can provide upto 160 hours of standby time and upto 3.55 hours of talktime.
