LG Magna LTE smartphone launched in India at Rs 15,590

LG Magna smartphone launched, features a 5-inch HD display, LTE connectivity and Android 5.0.

LG Magna mid-range smartphone is now available in retail stores for Rs 15,590.  The LG smartphone has a 'gently curved design' distinguished by a subtle 3000 mm radius curve.

The LG Magna smartphone has a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 8 GB internal memory expandable via microSD card slot. LG Magna has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera with gesture shot for clicking selfies.

Connectivity options included are Dual SIM with dual standby functionality, 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and GPS support. It has an inbuilt compass, proximity and accelerometer sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 2,540mAh (removable) battery. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS with LG UI on top. Apart from India, LG Magna will be launched in Brazil dubbed as the LG Prime Plus.  

LG had announced the Magna smartphone along with the LG Joy, Leon and Spirit at MCW 2015 earlier this year. The smartphone maker made the LG Spirit available in India in March priced at Rs. 14,250. LG Spirit has a 4.7 inch HD curved display, with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 5.0. It has 8 GB inbuilt phone memory expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The LG Spirit has an 8MP rear camera and a 1MP front camera. The smartphone is backed by a 2100 mAh battery.
