Lava X2 launched in India with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery, and a MediaTek processor

Lava has launched a new budget phone in the Indian market named Lava X2. This will be an online exclusive offering from the brand. It will be coming with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS screen with a waterdrop notch, a 5000mAh power source, a MediaTek octa-core chipset, an 8MP dual AI camera arrangement by the back, a fingerprint reader, etc.

Lava X2 specs and features

The Lava X2 will be dressed in a striped design by the back and a waterdrop notched display on the front. Here, on its face, there is a 6.5-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution. Within its cutout at the top resides a 5MP selfie clicker. 

As for the back cameras, you have an 8MP primary camera and an unnamed secondary shooter. It supposedly offers some AI-based enhancements.

Another thing the brand hasn't spelt out is the actual processor name and just mentions that it is a MediaTek octa-core chip. Anyways, this will be paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Inside, the phone is also carrying a 5000mAh battery with a USB-C charging port. Other connectivity options are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual 4G SIM support, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and OTG support. 

Finally, in the list of features, there's a fingerprint scanner, a face unlocking option, and a free protective cover.

Lava X2 price and availability

Lava X2 is currently up for pre-booking at ₹6,599 via Amazon India but this early bird price ends on March 11, post which, it will cost you ₹6,999 a pop. The device will be also retailing through the Lava e-store.
