Karbonn Mobiles has entered into a partnership with e-commerce site Amazon India to preload the Amazon shopping app on Karbonn’s smart devices. Karbonn has also announced exclusively launching its Karbonn Titanium Hexa smartphone from Techfone on Amazon.in. Prebooking for the smartphone will begin tomorrow and will be available for sale May 20 onwards. Karbonn is offering a free Plantronics Bluetooth Headset to every user that buys the device on amazon.in.
Priced at Rs. 16,990, the Karbonn Titanium Hexa is dual-SIM smartphone, featuring 5.5-inch LTPS display with 1920*1080 pixels resolution. It runs Android KitKat and is powered by a 1.5GHz hexa-MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM.
The Titanium Hexa has a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. For connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. Other features include 16GB built-in storage, 32GB expandable memory, GPS and 2050 mAh battery.
Karbonn had announced the Titatnium Hexa in March this year along with Titanium Octane and Octane Plus smartphones. While the Titanium Hexa features a hexa-core processor, the Octane and Octane Plus feature octa-core processors (MediaTek).
The new Karbonn smartphones are likely to give a stiff competition to other smartphones running on octa-core processors like the Micromax Canvas Knight, iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 and Intex Aqua Octa.
