iQOO has recently expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Z11xa. The device joins the Z11 lineup, which currently boasts the standard Z11, Z11x and Z11 Lite. The handset is a direct competition to the recently launched Redmi Note 17, as they both fall in the similar price bracket. Though the prices of the two smartphones are almost similar, they come with significant differences, especially in the battery, chipset and camera departments. The iQOO Z11xa landed in the Indian market with a 6.76-inch LCD display that supports up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the bright sunlight the display can be as bright as 1200 nits.
The Redmi Note 17 sports a 6.99-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate that goes up to 120 Hz. When used outdoors, the company claims that the panel can reach a peak brightness of 1800 nits. Moreover, it also houses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, protecting the screen.

Under the hood the iQOO has packed its Z11xa with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. Along with that, it also offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Out of the box the smartphone runs on OriginOS 6, a skin based on Android 16.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 17 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SOC clubbed with an Adreno GPU. The consumers can also choose from up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Not only that but they can further expand the storage up to 2TB. The smartphone runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
Makers have packed the iQOO Z11xa with a 7,200mAh battery, which is further supported by 44W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 17 houses an 8,000mAh battery, which is paired with 45W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the device boasts a dual camera setup at the rear end of the device, including a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. At the front the smartphone also boasts a 32MP camera, which is perfect for selfies and video calls.
In comparison to that, the Redmi Note 17 features a 50MP single AI rear camera at the back of the handset. For selfies and video calls, the device also comes with an 8MP sensor at the front.

iQOO has launched its Z11xa in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 28,999, while the Redmi Note 17 landed with a starting price of Rs 27,999.
