February feels like the calm before the storm. Why did I say that? Well, in February, many smartphone brands are announcing their next-gen mid-range smartphones. Two of them are Nothing and iQOO, which are expected to drop their next smartphones in March. Both brands have also confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a and the iQOO Neo 10R. Nothing will drop its next A series smartphone in India on March 4, while iQOO will launch the Neo 10R on March 11. Both brands have been teasing their smartphone for a while now but have been tight-lipped about their key specifications.

However, as usual, rumours and leaks don’t wait for phones to be launched. Ever since the brands teased these smartphones, we have been constantly seeing their key specifications being leaked. Now, these leaked specifications might differ once the Phone 3a and Vivo V50 are out. Until then, let’s see what the Nothing Phone 3a and the Vivo V50 can pack.

iQOO Neo 10R vs Nothing Phone 3a

Starting with the design because iQOO has already revealed Neo 10R’s design and Nothing is popular for its unique designs. One of the colours of the iQOO Neo 10R will be called Raging Blue, which is a dual-tone colour pattern of Blue and White. Moreover, the camera module of the Neo 10R is now squarish with rounder corners. On the other hand, Nothing is also rumoured to have revamped the camera island of its Phone 3a. Except this, the same pattern of Glyph LED lights is expected to be there.

Moving on, the iQOO Neo 10R is expected to come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate support. The Nothing Phone 3a can feature a 6.8-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support.

On the performance front, you might get to see the iQOO Neo 10R running on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. However, the Nothing Phone 3a is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which can be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Both smartphones will most likely feature Android 15-based UI skins.

For photography, the iQOO Neo 10R will reportedly feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary shooter and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. But, the Phone 3a is expected to have three cameras – a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

And lastly, a big 6400mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging support can power the iQOO Neo 10R. On the other hand, you will reportedly get a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support on the Nothing Phone 3a.

Price difference

We believe that both smartphones will be launched in India for under Rs 30,000. Now, the Nothing Phone 3a is expected to launch under Rs 25,000, whereas the iQOO Neo 10R will be priced slightly higher – under Rs 30,000.
