iQOO is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next-gen flagship model, the iQOO 16, in the home as well as the global market. The smartphone will be a successor to the current generation flagship model, the iQOO 15, and is tipped to bring major design changes, especially in the camera module. While the company has not yet revealed anything about the device, the leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of how the smartphone may look. The device is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC with a massive 8,500mAh battery. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming iQOO 16, including its design, specs, and price.
iQOO 16 renders have recently surfaced online as some tipsters share new images of the upcoming device. If the leaked image renders are to be trusted, then the upcoming device may come with a redesigned rear camera module, as it’s shown to come with a large, square-shaped rear camera island with rounded corners. The cameras are also expected to be connected with each other via angular connected lines.

The leaked images on Weibo show the smartphone in two colour variations, which are black and white. The black version of the device can be seen having a blue accent lighting running around parts of the camera island and along the lower portion of the rear panel. However, the images of the white version are less clear.
The upcoming iQOO 16 is said to come with a 6.8-inch flat Samsung OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood the handset may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, which may get paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The device is also rumoured to come with an 8,500mAh battery to keep it running the entire day. Moreover, it may get 100W wired charging and wireless charging support. In terms of optics, the smartphone may feature a triple camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. At the front the device is also said to house a 50MP selfie shooter.

While iQOO has not yet officially confirmed the launch date for the upcoming iQOO 16, the leaks and rumours suggest that the device may land in the Indian market in November or December 2026.
Early reports suggest that the upcoming iQOO 16 may be priced at Rs 74,990 for the base variant. These are not official pricing, and much like everything else, they should be considered as leaks, as they may change at the time of launch.
