Intex launches Jelly Bean-based Aqua Wonder smartphone for Rs. 9,990

Intex Aqua Wonder is one of the few smartphones in the country to come with Jelly Bean straight-out-of-the-box.

Intex has introduced a new Android smartphone, called the Aqua Wonder. Priced at Rs. 9,990, the Aqua Wonder supports dual-SIM and runs the latest Android v4.1, Jelly Bean.

The Intex Aqua Wonder features a 4.5 inch IPS panel display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM.

Other key specifications of the Aqua Wonder include 8MP auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1.93GB built-in storage and microSD slot that supports storage up to 32GB. There’s an 1800 mAh battery.

For connectivity, the Aqua Wonder supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The device comes with various pre-loaded apps including File manager, Whatsapp, Facebook, Nimbuzz, Skype etc.

The new Intex smartphone is being pitted against the likes of Lava IRIS 501, Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and Karbonn A21 and Smart Titanium 1 smartphones.
