HIGHLIGHTS

Honor is expected to launch their first smartphone model that will feature the latest Kirin 16 nm chipset, that will sport a brand new SoC (System on Chip), that is built using a the efficient 16 nanometer process technology.

16 nm chipsets feature superior performance as compared to 28 nm chipsets, as the shrinking of the chip allows the chipset more headroom in terms of performance, while offering significant power savings in comparison to 28nm based chipsets, which also results in lower heating, an issue that often crops up in smartphones.

The 16nm Kirin chipset that will feature the new Honor smartphone, could feature
