Google is getting ready to release the Pixel 10a, which will replace the Pixel 9a that came out earlier this year. A new leak from trusted source Evan Blass says the phone has already been approved by Verizon. This usually means the product is close to being released, possibly in the next few months. The certification also shows that the phone will support 5G and includes several important hardware features. However, even with these leaks, nothing is guaranteed until Google officially announces the Pixel 10a.
The Pixel 10a is expected to feature a 6.3-inch full HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate that can shift between 60Hz and 120Hz. Reports also point to a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, which should help with clear outdoor viewing.
Under the hood the device may be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip. Furthermore, it’s tipped to pack 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which should be enough for daily use, social apps and light multitasking. The device is said to include a 5,100mAh battery, which could provide long hours of usage for most users. Support for 5G and LTE Cat 19 is also mentioned in the certification details.

For cameras, the Pixel 10a is rumoured to offer a 48MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 13MP ultrawide camera with a view close to 120 degrees. On the front, the phone may get a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. These camera features match Google’s focus on simple and dependable photography.
Render leaks show a design similar to the Pixel 9a with a clean back and a bar-shaped camera module. The phone is also expected to receive up to seven years of software support, which will be a strong point for long-term buyers.

The Pixel 10a is expected to start at $499 which converts to roughly Rs 45,000 in India. This places it in the mid-range segment where users look for steady performance, long battery life and clean software. The phone may launch in multiple colour options similar to earlier Pixel models.

The device is expected to launch globally in March 2026 and should arrive in India either at the end of March or in early April 2026. This is quite in line with Google’s routine of announcing an early-year ‘a’ series smartphone that subsequently reaches India soon after the global announcements.
