Google is reportedly a month away from the launch of its next foldable phone in the market – the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The handset will be accompanied by a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. This will be the third foldable phone by the company, and the handset is teased to come with some significant upgrades. According to a latest report by Google, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold could outdo the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in terms of dust resistance and battery size. The upcoming handset is expected to be the first foldable device to feature an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
Here are all the leaks and details about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold that we know so far.
Google is expected to increase the size of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold cover display from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches this year. However, it won’t increase the size of the device, as Google will likely slim down the bezel and the hinge. The cover display is also said to get a brightness boost of up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 2,700 nits brightness.
Google is surprisingly pushing the battery capacity on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The handset will likely pack a massive 5,015mAh capacity battery, a 7% increase over its predecessor, 9% larger than the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, despite having the same physical size.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is said to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display panel and a Tensor G5 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM. As for the camera, the device may come with a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. The selfie cameras will reportedly be 10MP on both the cover and the main screens.
The device is expected to be priced at Rs 1,72,999 in the Indian market. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed.
