Vivo recently launched the T4x 5G in India at a price of Rs 12,999. It features a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a large battery. Another strong competitor in this segment is the CMF Phone 1, which is also known for its performance and unique design as well. But how do these two smartphones stand against each other? I have compared the Vivo T4x 5G and the CMF Phone 1 on the basis of their design, display, performance, software, camera, and battery.
The Vivo T4x 5G is available in Pronto Purple and Marine Blue variants and features a premium AG texture and IP64 certification. It weighs around 208 grams. On the other hand, the CMF Phone 1 sports a replaceable back panel, with an IP52 rating and a lighter weight of 197 grams.
The Vivo T4x 5G has a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,050 nits brightness. The CMF Phone 1, however, features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with HDR10+ support and 2,000 nits peak brightness, offering better contrast and in-display fingerprint scanning.
Both devices run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, but the Vivo T4x 5G outperforms on AnTuTu benchmarks. It comes with FunTouch OS 15 (Android 15), while the CMF Phone 1 runs on Nothing OS 2.6 (Android 14).
The Vivo T4x 5G features a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It supports 4K rear and 1080p front video recording. The CMF Phone 1 has a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera. It also records 4K rear and 1080p front videos.
Vivo packs a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, while CMF has a smaller 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
Now coming to their price difference, the Vivo T4x 5G starts at Rs 12,999 while the CMF Phone 1 starts at Rs 14,999.
