At CES 2026, Motorola came up with a series of big announcements. It includes Motorola’s first book-style foldable smartphone, a new unified AI platform spanning Lenovo and Motorola devices, an experimental AI wearable concept, and a FIFA World Cup 2026-themed Razr edition. Additionally, the company has also introduced its Signature smartphone. Here’s everything that you should know.

Motorola Razr Fold unveiled

Among the biggest announcements, the biggest reveal was Motorola Razr Fold, company’s first book style foldable device.The company positioned the device as flexible, multi-tasking focused foldable with support for stylus input, adaptive layouts and on-device AI features. It houses a triple camera setup including the telephoto lens. It also supports Dolby Vision, advanced stabilisation and more.

Motorola Signature

Motorola has unveiled the ultra-slim Motorola Signature at CES 2026, marking its entry into the ultra-premium segment with a 6.99mm design, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 165Hz AMOLED display, triple 50MP cameras, 90W fast charging, and an industry-leading seven years of Android and security updates.

Lenovo and Motorola introduce unified AI platform

The company also announced Motorola Qira, a new AI ecosystem which brings together Lenovo AI Now, Moto AI and other AI services in a single platform. The company aims to reduce friction caused switching between devices and AI tools, allowing context, prompts, and tasks to carry over seamlessly across phones, PCs, and other hardware.

Motorola Qira will rely on partnerships with companies including Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Intel, and Perplexity to deliver AI features across productivity, content creation, and everyday assistance. The platform is expected to roll out more capabilities later this year.

Project Maxwell

Motorola’s 312 Labs also introduced Project Maxwell, a proof-of-concept AI wearable designed to function as a hands-free, context-aware companion. The concept device can process audio and visual inputs from the user’s surroundings and provide real-time suggestions or complete tasks using natural language commands.

FIFA World Cup 2026 special edition Razr

The company also partnered with FIFA, Motorola announced the razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, a special variant featuring exclusive design elements, wallpapers, ringtones, and camera watermarks inspired by the tournament. The device will initially launch in select markets ahead of wider availability closer to the World Cup.

Ecosystem expansion

Motorola also expanded its ecosystem with new accessories under its “moto things” lineup, including a smartwatch developed with wellness brand Polar, an upgraded stylus compatible with the razr fold, and a new tracking tag.
