It’s almost time for Apple’s annual hardware launch, which includes new iPhones, smartwatches, and AirPods. While the Cupertino based tech giant has been tight lipped about the event, the rumours have offered plenty of details about the upcoming iPhone 17 series. This year, the fans may get to see some much anticipated design changes and maybe a refreshed lineup with the new iPhone 17 Air.
It must be noted that Apple has not officially confirmed the details at the moment. However, the reports suggest that Apple may organise its iPhone 17 launch event on September 9. Here’s everything that you can expect from the event.
The iPhone 17 is said to get some design changes, bringing it closer to the Pro series. The device is said to have a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may have a 24MP front camera. It could get 8GB RAM and new colour options, Purple and Green.
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to get a major design overhaul with a rectangular camera bar with a similar camera setup and flash on the right. The iPhone 17 Pro Max could also get the similar design.
Speaking of the prices, the iPhone 17 could start at $800, the Pro at $1,050, and the Pro Max at $1,250. The Pro lineup might lose the 128GB storage option, limiting buyers to 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to replace the Plus variant this year. As per the report, the device may offer an ultra-slim form factor, reportedly 5.5mm thick. It may get a 6.6-inch OLED panel and an A19 Pro chipset. It may have a single 48MP rear camera and a 24MP front camera. The device is expected to be priced at $950.
Apple is also expected to launch the much anticipated Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11. All the devices are expected to offer blood pressure monitoring and possibly sleep apnea detection. The Apple Watch Series 11 could start at $400 and Ultra 3 could be priced at $800.
Apple is also said to introduce the AirPods Pro 3. It may offer a slimmer case, smaller earbuds, and touch controls. It may feature an H3 chipset.
